Meet Taylor
Hi, I’m Taylor Gross: a NYC-based “buy-ologist” and the founder of Retaylor Therapy, a retail consultancy focused on beauty and wellness.
I’ve spent my career on the buying side of the table, leading beauty buying teams and brand curation at iconic retailers like Barneys New York and Space NK. I’ve also worked closely with international brands entering the U.S. market, optimizing sales strategies and leading retail partnerships at The Hut Group.
I started Retaylor Therapy to help independent and emerging brands launch and scale in specialty retail, while also partnering with retailers on brand strategy and new business development.
Along the way, I’ve also worked as a beauty editor for retailers including Dermstore, where I produced engaging editorial content and storytelling themes that brought product to life and helped customers discover what was truly special.
I know how buyers think, what brands need, and how to translate between the two without losing the magic. Today, I work as a strategic thought partner: helping brands and retailers refine their point of view, make confident decisions, and grow at scale.
